Being one of few detectives willing to work in the eternally smog filled streets of The Don, Rayna's caseload has never given her much time to form attachments, with one of the few exceptions being Jules, a young girl Rayna could mentor both when it came to schoolwork, as well as how to navigate the world as a trans woman.

As such Rayna refuses to leave well enough alone when Jules is found dismembered, but she quickly finds out that there is a lot more to this case than originally envisioned, and that she might have to rely on former friends, enemies, and lovers to solve it.

Deoxyribonucleic Enterprise is a genepunk horror book, set in the year 2263, after tampering with DNA has been made easy to the point of frivolousness.
